		<description>I lived, with my parents and siblings in India from 1934 until 1944 and attended Lovedale from 1940 until end of term 1942 the family then went to Mount Abu, my father was in the British Army, and I attended the Lawrence College there until the end of 1943 as a day pupil.  I left India on 7th December 1943 arrivi g in UK in January as we were on the first convoy of ships to pass through the Suez Canal since the start of the War.  I went into Army Boy Service. I have been to many re-unions of the Old Lawrencians in the UK.</description>
